Pair of Decanters with Stoppers, 18th century

These are a pair of Dutch etched glass decanters with stoppers. These identical decanters have a graceful shape that curves inward in the middle. At that point, two handles are formed by holes in the middle of the vessel. The vessels’ bottom and handles have delicate scroll and scallop etching. The top shoulder of the decanter features swirls, birds and sailboat etchings. Each decanter has a fancy stopper that is pyramid-shaped.
