  • As a part of our wonderful ISGM community, our employees' well-being, and the well-being of those they care for is important for us. To expand the access to quality healthcare, anyone who is working 30 or more hours is considered a full-time status employee and has access to all museum benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance along with generous paid time off. We provide generous health insurance with a two-tiered museum's contribution rate based on our employees' pay scale. Museum also provides life insurance coverage for all full-time employees and all employees are eligible to participate in our retirement plan regardless of the number of hours they work at the museum.

Internships at the Gardner

We offer a variety of internships to give students the opportunity to experience the vibrant inner workings of a world-renowned cultural institution. Positions are periodically offered in the Development, Education, Marketing, and Membership, but internships in other departments may be available through the Gardner Ambassadors program, which opens paid internship opportunities in the Museum to those who previously have not had access to them.
