We offer a variety of internships to give students the opportunity to experience the vibrant inner workings of a world-renowned cultural institution. Positions are regularly offered in the Development, Education, Marketing, and Membership, but internships in other departments may be available. All internships are unpaid unless explicitly stated paid in the position description.

Teens Behind the Scenes

Teens Behind the Scenes are the highly motivated, energetic, and committed young ambassadors of the Gardner Museum. Joining the Teens Behind the Scenes is a great way for Boston students grades 10 – 12 to learn more about museums and art. Teens earn a stipend for hours worked and get benefits including access to the Gardner and other museums, the opportunity to strengthen academic, professional, and personal skills, and the chance to work with other motivated teens from across Boston. No prior experience is needed.
