Rush Holder, 18th century - 19th century
Wrought iron and wood, 29.5 x 10.5 cm (11 5/8 x 4 1/8 in.)
This rushlight holder is made of a wooden stand and an iron clamp. The stand is cone-shaped with a flat top. A twisted iron rod fits into the center of the base’s top. A hinge holds a j-shaped clamp with pincers to the iron rod.
