The man turns to look to the woman to the right. The two women are wearing hats and long dresses, seemingly with bustles. Behind and to the right of this group of three are two people in a doorway; both wear dresses and one of them wears a hood and a muff; they appear to be conferring. To the far right there are two men wearing dark hats and facing toward the group of three. One of the men is gesturing with one hand outstretched and the other raised. The etching is not very colorful, but there are touches of green and brownish gold. Across the bottom of the etching is the writing CHI S’IMPACCIA CON LE FRASCHE LA MINESTRA SA DI FUMO (He Who Gets Involved with Vain Women Does Not Succeed).
