Gilt paper cut-out on paper with bamboo ribs, 28.9 x 5.7 cm (11 3/8 x 2 1/4 in.)
This Chinese folding fan has bamboo ribs connected with black paper. The upper right side of the fan is decorated with a gilt paper cut-out with a design of a phoenix soaring over a cluster of peonies flowers.
