This lectern or reading desk is made of black wrought iron and looks very much like a music stand with a slanted top where the Bible would rest. The slant top has a removable cover of red fabric. The slant top is supported by a wrought iron shaft that leads down to four legs splayed out and kept stable by four flat clawed feet.
