This postcard is made of white cardstock and dates from 1914. On the verso, a handwritten message is inscribed. In the upper left corner of the recto is a decorative 4-leaf clover with each petal of the clover representing a country. The leftmost petal features red, white and blue stripes for France. Moving clockwise, the next petal features a black double-headed eagle on a gold background for Russia. The rightmost petal features red, gold and black stripes for Belgium, and the bottom petal is red with a small Union Jack representing the United Kingdom. Four faint horizontal lines for writing text are featured.
