This horizontal watercolor, graphite, and pen and ink drawing was created during the process of designing Fenway Court. This rendering depicts one side of the exterior. The view is of a four-story stucco building in light ochre with an orange roof. Shadows, or possibly accents, in a watery green appear on parts of the stucco. The first floor is partially blocked by a tree-lined staircase going up to our right. Cypress trees are next to the building to our right. Five tall, narrow decorative windows are visible on the second floor. The roof level on that floor appears to indent, and there are potted plants all along the edge.  Two of the decorative windows are centered on the wall of the third floor. A bay window extends out on our right side of the fourth floor. Floor to ceiling windows open out to balconies in the center of that floor, and traditional, open windows are seen to our left. The roof has a deep overhang; and there is one chimney on our left side and two on our right. The background is painted a light ochre, similar to the sides of the building. At the bottom, in the center is the inscription HOUSE IN THE FENWAY.
