This knife has a sharp, polished steel blade and an elaborately carved brown wooden handle. On the blade, near the guard, the words BLIKSTAD and THRONDHIEM are engraved. The silver sheath is decorated with swirling leaf patterns on one side. The other side is plain, with a dent and some tarnish, and has a ring on which a clip and some thread hang. The wooden handle of the knife has a similar swirling leaf pattern to the sheath.
