This tin tea canister is a beautifully decorated cylinder with a deep removable lid. The background is lacquered in a deep grey shade and the edges are in gold. Gold-colored bronze dust images of bamboo and branches with leaves decorate the canister. An inscription in Chinese characters is placed along the body. The top of the container is decorated with whimsical floral designs and creatures. The interior is plain, with a gold ball shape in the center of the interior of the lid.
