The left side depicts an interior space that has various green floral screens, with another light-skinned person with black hair and wearing a highly decorated salmon-colored robe sitting on the light blue rug. On the right is an outdoor scene with two deer on tan ground with green and pink mountains in the distance. The delicate wood ribs have space between them at the center. The reverse side has painted tan flowers and reeds on a lighter tan background. The thin wood ribs are visible on the reverse side.
