This horizontal, impressionistic oil painting on canvas captures the airy feel of several fruit trees in bloom in front of a small body of water and an out-of-focus woman in the right foreground.  The picture is mostly in loosely painted pastel colors:  pinkish blossoms dominate the short trees, lavender shadows are cast on the ground, edged by patches of green grass.  The light blue of the water covers much of the center of the painting and peeks out among the branches and blossoms of the trees. The water terminates in the back by the low rise of gray and green land on the far shore which in turn hugs a thin slice of light blue sky at the very top of the painting. The incidental, dark skinned, featureless woman in the right front wears a white cap and what appears to be a below-the-knee white apron or loose smock over a floor-length gray skirt and a short gray jacket. She seems to be leaning against a narrow tree trunk, her arms raised as if to pick a blossom.  The painting is recessed within a broad, outwardly graduated white frame with thin gray lines.
