This rectangular cover or hanging is made of linen tabby cloth embroidered with polychrome linen yarns. At the center is a simple depiction of Adam and Eve. These nude figures, done in brown thread, are standing on each side of a tree and have eyes done in blue thread. Adam, to our left, has wavy hair and is nude. He holds one arm across his body at waist level and the other holds a branch of the tree such that it covers his lower torso. Eve, to our right, has long wavy hair that falls to her waist. She is also nude. She holds an apple in one outstretched hand and in her other hand she holds a leaf that covers her lower torso. Between them is a leafed tree. There is a snake in the branches that looks at Eve and a bird at the top and a rabbit at its base. Foreign text is visible along the top of the tree and the entire scene is encircled with a wreath. The area outside the wreath contains many nature related figures, some are real and others are fictional, and include flowers, vines, a unicorn, a peacock, a rabbit, a ram, and birds. The figures in the upper half of this work appear upside down. There is a standing human figure in each of the corners to our left. They both have tightly curled hair and wear knee length robes.
