This polychromed and gilded linden wood statue depicts a standing light skinned female saint who gazes at a red covered book she holds at chest level in her hand to our left. A flame appears to be rising from the open book. She is wearing gold colored robes that cover her head and go down to the floor. This robe has a red and blue painted decorative border and is draped over her arm to our right. She has on a tam-like headpiece with carved beading and a vine motif border. Under this robe is a gown with gold trim at a scooped neckline.
