A slender silver vase that flares out at the top and the bottom. Running down from the smooth collar are long, embossed curved lines that stop short of the base. The tops of alternate lines are embossed with small circles. Four thin bands circle the base where the lines stop. Where the base flares out, shorter curved lines are embossed in the opposite direction from the long ones and stop above the foot of the base. One side of the collar of the vase is stamped with a maker's mark of small symbols and the letters “JWJ”.
