This orphrey is a garment worn by a Catholic priest. It has a primarily green background with red, gold, and silver embroidery. A circular medallion toward the top of the fragment contains the figure of St. John the Baptist, while another medallion towards the bottom shows the figure of St. Barbara. Under the medallion containing St. Barbara are two identical winged, reptilian animals looking to either side. In between the two medallions there are multiple figures, animals, and floral motifs arranged symmetrically. Starting from the bottom of this middle section there is a plinth in the center. Making our way towards the top, there are two figures with wavy hair on either side looking away from each other. In between these two figures lies a scroll. Directly above the scroll a large, crowned face looks directly out towards us. On the very top of this middle section, two winged and feathered creatures look towards each other and in-between them a large plinth-like structure crowns the section. Finally, above St. John the Baptist the sequence from the middle section is repeated; we are only able to see the plinth and the two figures which look away from each other. The one to our left is only partially visible due to the scoop neck on the top.
