The beige-white marble object looks like a tub, with an open square top, and a smaller square bottom, to where each of its four vertical faces is an inverted trapezoid. It is placed on a large, pink stone. We are seeing the object from the front, looking perpendicularly at one of its vertical faces. The surface is heavily carved. At the top, below the open rim, there is a broad horizontal band of carved interlace. Below, in the remaining space, there are two crouching animals, back-to-back, with their hind quarters touching, and their heads projecting off the left and right edges of the face, respectively. The animals look like stylized lions, with characteristic noses and ear shapes, as well as mane textures. The stone appears uniformly worn with losses to the stone relief. There is a large drilled hole in the bottom middle of the described trapezoidal face, where the animals touch.
