Free First Thursday: September

Join us for a restorative evening of art, horticulture and community at the Gardner—after hours! Explore the galleries, grab a bite at Café G and view our special exhibitions before they close: On Christopher Street: Transgender Portraits by Mark Seliger, Portraits From Boston, With Love, and Hakeem Adwumi: Possession of a Recalcitrant Dream, 2024. 

Café G will be open from 5—8 pm for dinner and drinks. 

Advance registration is encouraged for free timed entry tickets for Museum general admission.  

Registration opens two weeks before the event for the general public and four weeks in advance for members. Reserve your tickets online by clicking the button above.  

Limited tickets will be available in-person at the Museum’s main entrance, starting at 3 pm, the day of the event. Please note that day-of tickets are not guaranteed.
