Admissions

Admission is always free for members, and members are strongly encouraged to make advance registrations. Tickets may not be available at the door, particularly during popular days of the week and times of day. To ensure your spot, please reserve tickets in advance of your visit. 

Members have access to advanced tickets up to six weeks in advance. Please log to access your member ticket benefits before making your selections. Complimentary single-use guest passes cannot be redeemed online, please contact the Box Office at 617 278 5156 or boxoffice@isgm.org at least 48 hours prior to your visit. 

The University Membership Program at the Gardner Museum provides colleges and universities the opportunity to offer students and faculty complimentary Museum admission. Advance tickets are required for timed entry. Visit our University Membership webpage to view a list of participating universities, or learn how to access and use your school’s promo code for ticket reservations.

The Gardner Museum partners with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and Blue Star Families to honor and thank members of our military and their families for their service to our country by providing them with free admission to the Museum. (Use promo code USMIL for online discount. Valid ID required at visit.)

The Museum Pass Program at the Gardner Museum provides libraries the opportunity to offer their patrons discounted Museum admission. Library patrons must reserve and receive passes from their library and purchase Museum admission timed-entry tickets in advance using the unique promo code given with each pass.

Show your Massachusetts Teachers Association membership card and get half off the price of a single adult ticket for admission or buy one, get one free for pairs of tickets. (Use promo code MATEACHER for online discount. Valid MTA membership card required at visit.)

EBT, WIC or CONNECTORCARE Card holders receive a discount of $2 per person, per card for up to 4 Adults per visit. Children under 18 are always free. Payment can be made with cash or credit card. Tickets can be purchased onsite or online through our website with the following Promo Codes. MASSEBT for EBT & WIC or MACONNECTOR for CONNECTORCARE. WonderFund Access Card holders receive free admission for 2 Adults and up to 6 children under 18 per card, per visit for a total of 8. Tickets can be reserved onsite or online through our website with the WONDERFUND Promo Code.
