  • The United Nations estimates that nearly 6 million refugees have fled Ukraine, seeking safety, protection, and assistance abroad.

Our mission is to make the Gardner a cultural home for all of Boston, a commitment and invitation we extend to the Ukrainian community who, whether temporarily or permanently, now find themselves in Boston and its surrounding towns.

The Gardner Museum, in partnership with our colleagues at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Institute for Contemporary Art, offers one free general admission ticket* to those with a Ukrainian passport through Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2022.

We hope that in our galleries and in our Courtyard, those who are suffering from this war and the humanitarian crisis will find space for reflection and solace.
