    Enjoy free admission to the Gardner Museum on your birthday—with just your ID! Those whose birthdays fall on a Tuesday, when the Museum is closed, are invited to join us the Monday before or Wednesday after.

    As part of Bank of America's Museums on Us program, all visitors who present an active Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit or credit card and a valid photo ID shall receive free general admission to the Gardner Museum on the first full weekend of each month during 2018. Ticketed activities are not included and must be purchased separately by the visitor.

    Isabella Gardner was an avid Red Sox fan. Following the team’s championship win over the New York Giants in 1912, she showed her support in unique fashion, attending a Boston Symphony Orchestra concert wearing a white headband that read “Oh, You Red Sox!” Throughout the year, visitors to the Gardner Museum wearing Red Sox paraphernalia receive $2 off adult and senior admissions.

    Show your Massachusetts Teachers Association membership card and get half off the price of a single adult ticket for admission ($7.50 instead of $15), or buy one, get one free for pairs of tickets ($15 for two adults).

  • ELECTRONIC BENEFITS TRANSFER (EBT) CARD

    Show your Massachusetts EBT card plus a photo ID and get discounted admission at $2 per person! The Museum does not process EBT transactions—cash or other payment must be provided. This discount applies for up to four people per EBT card, per visit. Children 17 and under are always free.
