Only the front of this marble sarcophagus is decorated. A large vase is carved in the center, out of which two scrolled vines with leaves and grapes stretch out toward either end. Two large peacocks face the vase, one on each side, and other animals including lambs, lions, a wolf and various birds are scattered throughout the design.
