Torso and Upper Legs of a Silvanus, 2nd century - 3rd century

Carved across the front of this torso is a draped cloak laden with fruit. The fruit pile, with a variety of shapes and sizes of fruit, is large enough to obscure almost all of the figure’s torso, from the hips to the chest. The cloak is held together on the figure’s right shoulder by a clasp of goat’s feet. Their right arm is cut off above the elbow, and their left hand grasps the left side of the cloak. Both legs are cut off mid thigh, and their right leg is slightly damaged.
