This is an ornate gilded clock that is supported by gilded branches and flowers. The clock face sits in the center of the piece, and the enameled dial is encased in brass with gilded clock hands with roman numerals noting the hours as well integers of 5s surrounding the numerals. The clock is surrounded by colorful ceramic flowers and gilded vines that form a large trunk that supports the piece at the bottom. At the base of the trunk sit two light-skinned ceramic figurines facing one another. On our left, the male figure is dressed in a harlequin top and lederhosen, red shoes and a green pointed hat. He is holding an air bladder instrument that he appears to be filling with air. The female figure on our right wears a flat rounded wide short brimmed hat, flowing sleeves, tunic type dress with a purple and gold flowered fabric skirt. On her lap she is strumming a stringed instrument with a round body.
