Each of this pair of highly decorative Venetian arm chairs is largely upholstered and is outlined by a painted wooden frame set on four painted wooden legs on ball feet. The upholstered seat is wide and deep, almost forming a half-circle in the back. The narrow painted, curvilinear frame circles the seat base, rises up at the front seat corners, and continues down the top of the high arm rests and further over the seat back, which rises above the arm rests.  The side arms and seat back are fully and continuously upholstered from the seat to the frame, with woven pink ribbon covering the junction.  The painted wooden frames and legs are an aged yellow background in a raised blue border with painted garlands of pink, red, and blue flowers and green leaves between the blue borders.  The upholstery is vertical wide stripes of pink with a central narrow yellow column alternating with a vertical cream stripe with stacked garlands of pink and red flower bouquets tied in white bows.
