A brass, rectangular casket with a gold colored medallion on each of its four sides. The top of the casket features a raised rectangle with a scene etched into it. In the center of the scene there is a large cross. The cross is doubled, with a smaller horizontal rectangle above the larger main cross. Below the main cross, the letter “T” is carved to our left, and “R” is carved to our right. The cross stands in the center of three small hills. The center hill depicts a  skull and crossbone. Rising above the two hills to the left and right are two polls with tassels hanging from them. On our left side, at the top of the cross, is a circular face on top of a cloud, possibly the sun. To our right is a crescent moon over a could, also with a face. Above this scene at the corners of the rectangle are large clouds. In between them is a bird pointed down towards the cross, rays etched around it. Surrounding the raised rectangle are etched leaves.

Two of the medallions, on the long sides of the casket, depict the baptism of Christ by Saint Michael. They are etched into the oval medallion that appears gold. To our left is Saint Michael, standing on rocks above Jesus, who is slightly below him. On our right is another angel or Saint. The medallion is surrounded by a laurel wreath in relief. On the medallions on the short sides of the casket, there is a single figure in a robe with their left hand raised. The figure has wings and a halo above their head. A stand of four large knobs on the bottom of the casket raises it above the ground.
