This painted pine chest of drawers has a landscape painted on each of the four drawers and a sea-related scene on the side panels.  Each drawer has a large keyhole at its top center.  The top drawer depicts a rolling countryside with a large tree in the middle and church structure with a bell tower to our left.  Further to our left is a horse drawn wagon with passengers.  There is a mountain range in the distance and a darkening blue sky.  The next drawer down depicts three figures in a boat seen in the foreground and a mountain range in the distance.  There are large trees at each end with a medium blue sky.  The center of the third drawer has two figures standing under a large tree with a body of water visible on both sides. A large castle-like building is seen on the shore in the distance to our left and a smaller building to our right.  The sky is pale blue and white.  At the right of the bottom drawer are the silhouettes of a walking figure and dog striding across the crest of a hill.  There are several buildings at the bottom of this hill on the shore of a small body of water.  The light blue sky fades to pale at the horizon.  The large side panel to our left depicts the front of a large ship with its sails raised and a square red flag flying.  Choppy dark water is visible between the ship and the shore to our left where two figures stand.  In the distance to our left is a tall building and the sky is cloudy. The large end panel to our right depicts a large docked ship flying a red flag with its sails down.  There are figures visible on the ship to our left and on the dock to our right.  In the distance are several large buildings and a cliff.  There are off-white and grey clouds in the very pale blue sky.   The front feet are carved with flowers and the rear feet are plain.  Flat molding frames the drawers and side panels and wave-like carved molding extends along the top.  Warping and peeling paint are visible throughout.
