Polychrome underglaze painting on siliceous earthenware, 27.9 x 27.7 x 6.2 cm (11 x 10 7/8 x 2 7/16 in.)
This siliceous earthenware round plate is decorated with polychrome underglaze painted with a floral green design. There are three thin, black concentric circles framing the plate and a floral border. Within the border are alternating leaves and flowers. In the center of the plate is a large green leaf that is positioned diagonally across the plate. Other flowers with green leaves and lighter petals grow outward from several leaves in the bottom left side of the plate like a plant rooted in the ground. The underside of the plate is decorated with four small leaves spaced out around the base. The plate is aged with sections of earthenware apparent under the paint and discoloration in paint on the surface.
