Embroidered silk on rep weave ground, 197.8 x 89.2 cm (77 7/8 x 35 1/8 in.)
This vertical panel of cranberry color silk fabric is approximately two yards long and a yard wide. It has an embroidered crest or coat of arms in the upper center of the panel done in gold and light blue thread. It shows gold sprays of small leaves with pale blue flowers surrounding a central oval with three small palm trees on a gold ground. There is a thin delicate crown in the upper center of the crest. The hanging also has a thin vertical piece of the fabric cut-out or missing from the center left, starting just below the crest and extending to the end of the panel.
