This horizontal oil painting shows the interior view of a long space divided into three different rooms. Two pairs of sliding doors (four doors in total) divide the first room from the second room. The sliding doors are pushed to the sides, giving a long view down the space. One door of each pair is partially obscured. The pair of doors on the left shows a male figure standing under a tree. The pair of doors on the right shows a female figure standing on a crane flying over a blue and green mountain landscape. A partially obscred sliding door divides the second room from the third room. A central panel is in the third room is in front of the viewer and depicts a gnarled pine tree and a hut.
