This vertical pen and brush in black ink on ivory colored paper has three sketches of male figures. The sketches all seem to be of the same person. At the left of the page,  only the head is drawn, the paper having been turned sideways apparently to capitalize on an available space. Here we see the man’s head, which has very heavy eyebrows, deep set dark eyes, a long straight nose, mustache, heavy short beard, and full head of thick, wavy, shoulder-length hair. The sketch in the center is of a full-length, nude male body. He is a large muscled man with prominent pectoral and thighs muscles, standing with legs together and overly foreshortened forearms at his side bent forward at the elbows. His penis while present is partially camouflaged by heavy shading, probably representing hair. His left foot  is awkwardly shaped, as if he has an unusually high arch. Dark shading covers much of the arms, chest and legs, to indicate a hairy body. The third, partial sketch at the far right is of the same man from the upper thigh to his head with only the center and one side of his body completed. In this figure, the hair on his head and body is not as heavily sketched and he seems to have more girth through his chest and abdomen, although the remainder of what is shown is very similar to the central, more completed sketch.
