This is a paper program for a performance of Fiorella. The paper is horizontally oriented with some reddish-brown age marks and slightly ragged edges. The left half of the paper is blank except for a small pencil marking in the top left corner. Past a crease mark down the center, the right half of the program is printed in black ink. The program is in five sections. Behind all of this type are some brown stains, which appear to be pens bleeding through from the other side of the paper. The second picture shows the other side of the paper program. On the left of this side of the paper are seven autographs written in brown pen. The right half of the paper has a small paragraph describing the premise of the play in French and printed in black ink with the title “Argument."

British composer Amherst Webber, who made a living as an accompanist and
vocal coach, presented the one-act opera “Fiorella” at the Isabella
Stewart Gardner Museum in 1906. Gardner took great pride in supporting
original works and hosting premier performances at the museum. Gardner
saved this program as a souvenir for her collection of musical
manuscripts and memorabilia, ensuring that Webber’s minor legacy would
not be lost to time.
