This gilded copper and glass German monstrance has a large glass cylinder in the center with a singular, wide base and a crucifix at the top. On either side of the glass cylinder, there are the figures of holy people, as indicated by their robes, postures, and halos. Inside of the glass is a golden half crescent shape that is less than half the height of the chamber. Other decoration on the monstrance includes crenelations around the base of the glass, ornate pediments, flowers and other floral elements, and fleur-de-lis.
