Saint Agnes, 1350-1355

This statue of Saint Agnes depicts her standing, in full length, facing forward, with her eyes gazing into the middle distance. She is light skinned, with rosy cheeks, and long, wavy reddish-brown hair. She has wide, heavy-lidded, light-colored eyes, full, red lips, and long, thin and arching eyebrows. Saint Agnes is wearing a full-length blue dress with a golden cloak draped over her head and shoulders, and fastened across her hips. There’s a design across her chest with two red and gold diamond shapes, each framed by four black circles. Her right hand has sustained damage to its fingers, and is positioned at a right angle, slightly in front of her body. Her left hand, hangs down and is holding a small lamb.
