This silver spoon has a large, plain, rounded bowl. The handle is plain and round at the junction with the bowl but the distal half flattens and widens. The distal part is decorated with parallelograms in two unmatched rows along a central line. They form a chevron-like pattern. The spoon ends in flat, tooth-like cut outs between a pair of volutes. On the reverse side along the back of the handle are the marks: IMS, 12?, B over 1740.
