A white, four-legged animal is attached to the leash, and Mary is seen petting it with her arm to our right. There are three similar animals on the ground next to Mary to our left, all with dark patches on their rears. In the corner to our lower right is an oil lamp. Atop it is a winged, kneeling angel who holds a small blue clothed figure in her outstretched arms. To our right of Mary is a tree with several red blossoms. There is a tree and single blossom to our left of Mary. Further to our left there are two figures visible above a wall that extends from mid-center upward to the edge to our left. One of these figures is a white animal, perhaps a sheep, that appears to be pursued by a menacing brown, four-legged creature with red eyes and tongue. There is a winged angelic figure in the upper corner to our left. This figure has blonde hair, black eyes and red lips and holds a black rod in their arm to our right. This rod extends downward and ends in a red zig zagged line that points to the menacing animal. The upper section depicts tan ground interspersed with light blue color.
