Provenance
Purchased by Isabella Stewart Gardner from the antique dealer Antonio Settini, Venice on 22 September 1899 for 500 lire (for entire set of seven pieces of furniture).
Commentary
Isabella Stewart Gardner kept meticulous records of many of her acquisitions. In keeping with this legacy, object information is continually being reviewed, updated, and enriched in order to give greater access to the collection.
