This statue of a man carrying a bushel of grain is made of carved white jade. The man appears hunched over with a bushel of grain over one shoulder. He has a large head with a broad nose and his eyes and mouth are slightly open. His arm to our left is held across his chest. His arm to our right is raised above his head and the fingers of this hand are visible as they grasp the top of the bundle of grain. He is slightly crouched with his knees bent. When viewed from the rear, the stalks of the grain fall across his back and the belt of his robe is visible. There is a crack visible on the man’s cheek to our left.
