Carved mother of pearl, 3.5 x 6.5 x 11.5 cm (1 3/8 x 2 9/16 x 4 1/2 in.)
French, mother of pearl shell that has been made into a shallow bowl. The front features an inscription which says "Souvenir de Cannes" in-painted with dark ink. It sits on a thick oval base made of wood.
