This is a set of four wall lights, similar to wall sconces, made of gilded and painted wood and with single metal candleholders at the bottom.  The overall shape of the sconces is heart-like, with a crown on a pedestal rising from the top.  The heart-shaped frame is intricately carved with horizontal and vertical curves and additional curves, almost like snake heads, rising out of the exterior border.  The crown is carved with small balls for jewels rising from its top and sits on a pedestal of upward wave-like curves.  In the center is an upright, uncarved oval painted a reddish-brown background and featuring a small animal, possibly a brown mouse, holding a large red cylinder.  The animal is framed by a black painted oval frame.  A metal candleholder protrudes from the bottom of the heart-shaped frame.  The carved wood is all gilded and aged from use and time.
