This set of eight small, clear glass tumblers lack both stem and foot. They are decorated with a thick gold rim and harvest scenes painted in gold. All the tumblers are all slightly fluted and taper towards the bottom. Each decorative scene is different but all include a narrow gold strip of land positioned ~ an inch from the bottom of the tumbler and extending ~ ⅔ of the way around it. On each irregularly shaped landscape figures plant, tend, and harvest crops. On one tumbler a woman picks apples from a tree. On another, a man chases a bird with a net. On others, the sun rises or sets as bags and carts are filled by workers. Animals appear in and around trees, fields, a lake, or a stream. There is an occasional oversized, gold, stylized, botanical form interrupting the pastoral silhouettes.
