Cast bronze, 22.2 x 10.2 cm (8 3/4 x 4 in.)
This is a small pear shaped bronze vase, measuring 8 ¾ by 4 inches. This vase has a richly toned patina. Encircling and clinging to the upper shoulder and thin open neck is a creature in high relief. Its bulging eyes, long snout and talons suggest a dragon. The vase is supported with a short foot rim and is signed on the base with the stamp of the artist.
