This painted porcelain perfume bottle is five inches tall, but less than an inch wide, and flat on the top and bottom. The bottle comes apart about half-way down from the top, the site encircled by two gold rings. This delicately painted piece is decorated by widely spaced, stemmed flowers. On the bottle are three different species of flowers painted blue, yellow or pink with green leaves and stems. Each flower is separated from the others by loops of narrow silver, curved, discontinuous lines and small silver circles. The silver appears to have been painted on raised surfaces, giving texture to the bottle.
