This image is of a small case, made of paper with silver, brass, and a mother-of-pearl veneer. The case is vertical and in two parts. When the upper part is lifted off the lower part, we can see that scissors and other items can be inserted vertically into the lower part and stored there. The upper part has a scalloped top with some gold trim on the white veneer, and its edges are bordered in gold and silver. Inside the edges of the upper part we can see gold decoration, some floral, on the white veneer. On either side of the upper part are the horizontal words in gold capital letters, with a gold border. The lower part of the case has a similar gold and silver border and gold decoration on the white veneer, except that there is an oval encircling bird decoration on either side and no lettering.
