This rounded, Japanese bronze coin depicts a small. simple, stylized bord in profile facing left. Its body is rendered as a block with three raised lines to indicate tail feathers. The bird’s long legs and talons are prominent. It is positioned on the right side of the coin with a Japanese character above it and short, raised, curved lines around its head and body. There is a partial border of pennant shaped motifs above the bird’s tail feathers. The back of the coin is blank with a pitted surface.
