This silver, European empty frame is a rectangle with rounded top corners, giving it an arched shape appearance.  The narrow frame is notched at short, regular intervals. Two sculpted, standing, full-length human, male figures lean across each rounded corner of the arch, propping themselves up on their elbows bent upward to contact their heads. Their faces look sideways to the front, over their shoulders. Wavy hair tops their heads. They appear to be wearing sarong-like wraps around their waists and are nude from the waist up. A small support for a picture on each side occludes their legs. At the top center a nine-pointed crown arises above three circular rims of silver, the top rim decorated with small diamond shapes. These rims are set below on rounded, petal like projections. The bottom of the frame is raised above the surface by intertwined, scrollwork circles at each corner.  In the back, a long, plain strip of silver is attached to the back of the crown and extends downward to a c-curved strip of silver that serves as the base.  Support for an intended picture is provided by tabs toward the top behind the lateral men and at the bottom, arising from the back bottom corners of the rectangular frame.
