This silver object depicts a bearded figure dressed in long robes. The figure holds a fly whisk in one hand and the hilt of a sword is partially visible behind his proper left shoulder. The figure seems to be seated on a rock, which is perforated with c-shaped holes. This silver object was shaped through repousse, a process which involves hammering from the back to create designs in relief.

Commentary
This is a silver repoussé figure of a bearded figure wearing long robes. The figure carries in front of his body a fly whisk and the hilt of a sword emerges from his proper left shoulder. The sword and fly whisk are attributes associated with Lu Dongbin, one of the Eight Daoist Immortals.
