This 10-inch 19th Century Chinese paper knife is made from light green jade. It is approximately an inch wide with one end rounded and the other straight. Below these are two straight sides perfectly parallel one to the other. The straight top end seems to be thicker than the rest of the knife with a groove at its juncture with the blade. Both sides are uniform in the color of jade and are completely unadorned, although one side has irregular streaks of more yellowish-green jade near the top. The knife appears to be blunt.
