The focus of this etching is a light-skinned woman seated oriented toward our left with a piano in the background. This woman has large dark eyes, dark eyebrows, and light colored hair that is pulled onto the top of her head. Her mouth is slightly open. She looks off to our left and wears a dark colored high-necked blouse. There is a source of light to our right which illuminates that side and leaves her face in shadows. There are sheets of music open on the piano and several indistinct objects atop the piano. Above the piano appears an image of a bearded male figure. The lines of this etching are visible, and it is signed and dated in the lower right.
