She is seated with her back to the window and facing to our left.  She has large dark eyes, a large nose and is looking forward with an intent expression on her face.  She is dressed in dark clothing and her dark hair is pulled up and piled atop her head.  There is a shaft of light that shines on her left cheek and down her chest.  Further to our left is a row of individuals who are also seated on the bus.  A medium-skinned woman is seated beside her in the shadows and appears to be wearing a feathery hat.  There is a man further to the left who appears to be sleeping with his arms across his chest.  Further to the left is a mustachioed male who wears a top hat and holds a cane in front of him with his gloved hands.  There is another individual further to our left.  To the far right is the outline of a dark torso and a hand holding a cane.  The lines of this etching are visible, and it is signed and dated on the plate in the bottom center.
