This rectangular, wooden side table is painted black with a large bouquet of realistically painted polychrome flowers and greenery in the center of its upper surface: roses, morning glories, and poppies can be distinguished among other flowers. There is a continuous design of waveforms and intricate scrollwork painted in gold and red around the periphery of the table surface. The corner motifs are large, stylized, scrolling urn-like forms. The table frame has four spool legs and a spool cross support. Two arched, curved feet run perpendicular to the center support and connect the table legs and this cross support. The feet are decorated with bits of the intricate gold scrollwork as found on the periphery of the  table surface.
