This tapestry is done in wool and silk threads of tan, blue, green, and red. In the background is a covered walkway that is supported by pillars. In the center is a stone tower with a red roofed chateau behind it. Steppes and mountains are in the distance. In the middle ground is a large, symmetrical garden with fences dividing it into rectangular sections. Each section contains paths and defined plots. At the center foreground is a large fountain. In front of the fountain is a light-skinned couple. The woman is seated on a red upholstered chair to our right. She is dressed in a tan long gown covered by a blue shawl. The figure to our left is a man dressed in red, short, puffy pants and a blue vest. He has light brown hair and a beard. He is kneeling beside the woman and playing a mandolin. To our left is another standing couple. The light-skinned woman is dressed in a long gold robe that has a row of blue decoration down the front. The sleeves of her blue gown are visible. Her head is turned toward the man standing to her left.  This light-skinned bearded man is dressed in blue knee-length britches, a red and gold top, a red cape, and a blue hat. He is turned toward the woman with his hand resting on the woman’s arm. To our right are several more figures. There is a light-skinned bearded man who appears to be walking with a bird on one arm and two dogs. He has on blue shorts, a red shirt, blue vest, and a blue hat. Behind him are two sets of people: a woman and child, and a couple. The light-skinned child is dressed in a tan tunic and the light-skinned woman dressed in a blue and red dress and are walking toward the center of the scene. The light-skinned couple is comprised of a woman to our left dressed in a tan, red, and blue gown and a bearded man wearing a red tunic, a blue shawl, and a blue helmet with a bird on top. They stand embracing. This scene is framed by an arbor with three open archways covered with foliage and supported by eight columns.  The post of each column has a torso of a figure near the top and rest on rectangular bases. There are two peacocks in the foreground, one on each side of the central couple. The foreground area is covered with foliage and flowers. The border has an intricate floral and vine-like motif that runs along the top, bottom and sides of this tapestry.
